Hannah and Robbie

Location

Stinson Beach is a meaningful place to the couple, who were excited to embrace the community center there for their reception. The venue’s ceremony location, while having a peekaboo view of Mt Tam, was missing the “Stinson Beach vibes”, so they opted to get married at the beach which created some logistical challenges around getting everyone to the reception. Working with the small roadways and limited loading zones for multiple buses, we ended up hosting the cocktail hour at the beach, but also adding an extended cocktail hour at the reception venue with charcuterie, full bar, and live musicians to welcome guests. That way, the attendees who were on the first round of shuttles were well taken care of while waiting for the second group.

Small Town Snacks

For their late night snack we were able to pre-order a bunch of pizza from a popular local cafe which we picked up right before they closed and kept in a hotbox until we were ready for late night snacks. The pizza was so delicious and a special Stinson treat! Since the town is so small and sleepy, we also set-up a small bodega of snacks and waters for guests to take as they were headed back to their rooms for the night.

Guest Forward Details

There were so many thoughtful details that Robbie and Hannah planned for their guests. One of our favorites was that they named each table after a friend’s pet, and had illustrations done of the table’s namesake. The guests had no idea so it was a fun surprise if their table was named after their furry pal! They also had an illustration of their own dog, Maggie, for personalized thank you notes. Each guest received a handwritten note from the couple at their seat to welcome them to the wedding.
