Ali loves Matt

Location

Ali dreamed of getting married at her grandmother’s property, where she grew up climbing in the big oak tree. After exploring venue options they decided to move forward with this plan, with the ceremony taking place under that same oak tree.

Custom Art

The groom’s father is an artist, and drew an incredible picture of the oak tree for the couple’s invitations. Paper Caper also incorporated his calligraphy into the day-of paper and he drew beautiful flowers that we included as entree indicators on the menus. The result was an incredibly personal paper suite from invitations through to dinner.

Catering

Food was the most important piece to the couple, who are a chef and a front of house restaurant manager in San Francisco. We selected Componere for an extremely creative and fine dining focused dinner service. They also brought in special touches like butter cakes from Original Joes for dessert!
