Surprise!
Allie’s aunt came to us two weeks before the wedding to tell us she wanted to surprise Allie with a boat ride from their church ceremony to their reception. We quickly checked our notes on surprises and found that the couple had checked the box for “surprises, yes please!” on our intake questionnaire and we hit the ground running. We were able to find a yacht club close to the church that we could launch from, and fabricated a story about taking wedding party pictures there. Fortunately, we sent a planner on the bus to make sure it happened because the bride immediately noticed the bus was going in the wrong direction and wanted to turn around and go straight to the venue to get the party started. With a lot of gently insistant coersion, we were able to get her to the location for the surprise, and they arrived at their reception by boat!
Weather
With hundreds of Fort Baker weddings under our belt we can say with certainty, that A&L got THE BEST WEATHER EVER. It was truly an incredible day, and made us wish we could get married all over again just to experience such a beautiful Sausalito day.
Houseboat
This magical Sausalito day started on a historic floating home with 360 degree bay views, and a porch swing in the living room. It was such a lovely place to get ready and start the celebration!
